Construction crews will begin working to repave three areas of U.S. Highway 12 west of White Pass beginning July 13, according to a news release from the Washington Department of Transportation.听
Delays of up to 15 minutes are expected with the highway reduced to one lane near the summit of White Pass.听
The work will continue until October, and resume in May or June 2027. Once the repaving near the summit is complete, crews will work by the junction of U.S. 12 and State Route 123 as well as a section of U.S. 12 east of Rimrock Lake, it said.听
